Artist Information

Kensington’s popular Sun & Salsa Festival is a highly visible event, drawing close to 100,000 people to this free, family friendly one-day event. Exposure for Calgary’s performing artists is an important component of the Festival’s vision. Artists and ensembles are selected either through auditions, by submitting demo tapes, or by a referral from acknowledged experts. Inclusion in the Festival line-up is not automatic and it is subject to schedule, spot availability and artistic control.

Artists wishing to perform at the Sun & Salsa Festival are welcome to email your website link or EPK to Alexandra Sell (below) between August 1st and March 30th. Due to a large volume of requests only those considered for performance will be contacted. If you haven’t heard from us by mid-May you can assume that we weren’t able to include you in the line-up.
